In the heart of the Dordogne valley, Domaine de la Bélonie is a large eco-friendly holiday cottage (260m²) recently restored with respect for heritage and the environment to offer you a rich and peaceful stay.
The restoration of this cottage was guided by the preservation of the environment and the health of its occupants.
The ecological challenges we face must indeed prompt us to take action to protect the environment for our children. Tourism must also be part of sustainable development and contribute in particular to the preservation of natural and cultural heritage.
Perfect harmony
This house is the most beautiful house we have ever spent a holiday in. It’s in the middle of nowhere, quiet with a huge and beautiful garden – loads of space and it has been perfectly restored. Parts of the house were built in the 17th century and in every room the owner has kept the floors, wooden beams and put in double glass windows, modern showers and electric outlets. Everything is of high quality and arranged with lots of taste and concern. The kitchen is more than well equipped, the TV is huge, there are two fridges …. If you plan a nice and relaxing holiday close to the beauties of the Dordogne I couldn’t recommend a better place. Shopping (fresh bread) is always a car trip away (6km). The house is a beauty and I think Vincent, the awfully young owner, did a splendid job. Go and see it yourselves! We will come again!
